They're not even that expensive to run, fuel is the biggest thing not as good as people make them out to be (Not terrible though). Parts wise you can always source something second hand on the cheap if needs be.
TBH if you're buying a ph1 service it yourself and keep the receipts (Date them and write mileage on them)
It's not exactly hard to service them, my last service cost me about £40 including oil & filters.
Same as any other 172 12k miles. As for wearing out mines had a new engine mount (Hardly a "big" expense) and that's it !

Just rang renault and ordered some bullets, £34 ! robbing gets. Pick them up tomorrow.

I had my 182 for 6 months and nothing went wrong with it bar a crack in the cat (but I knew that anyway)
Had my ph1 a month and the engine mount went, however I have lowered it so I'llet let it off. You have to check the cars out properly when you buy them :rasp:
My battery went flat listening to the radio yesterday whilst working on the car and I've lost my cassette player code. Is there anyone who I can get a new code off without going to Renault ?

Went to RST in Leeds with Tom (hai) to the meet thing yesterday, car ran 157bhp ATF which is average. I'm hoping this will improve with new sparks the cambelt being changed and a new exhaust as my car is standard bar an ITG panel filter.
Today (Sunday) I set about banishing the red calipers...
