Sweet got my coils back from Gaz on monday (had the bump stiffened) but had to wait to put them back on as i thought it best i get some new bolts as i screwed the other ones up during the process of taking of the suspension last time :D 4 bolts plus nuts cost £20.23... So put my coilys back...

For what its worth im thinking of doing Eagle F1's next, they sounds consistently good. Any thoughts on how they perform against Pe2's.

I agree with your point in theory, but ive been driving for 9 years and the only crash i have had is this one. I nearly died driving within the speed limit and i dont believe my driving was at fault, my comments are based on my experiences but i agree you shouldnt have to blame crashes like that...

when i wrote my 1.6 16v off it had 17's with paradas, lowered, exhaust, airfilter, subs. They paid out within 2 weeks didnt even raise an eyebrow £3499, after paying of the finance off i ended up with a £1000 to play with :D Maybe i was just lucky :P

OMG those ebay ones are ridiculously overpriced !!! still if they sell for that im refurbing mine and puttin them on ebay lol. Def look between 250-400max if running Pe2's Ive got toyo T1r's all round n would be happy if i got offered £350 all need refurbing tho :P

Yea i bet that thing shifts :P im pretty sure i was around the 146 mark on the speedo so in reality renaults claim of 138 mph probably isnt to far of the truth

Parada's + Wet = good bye clio :( i was within the speed limit, yes i might have hit oil or something but this wasnt the first time i had felt unsafe due to there lack of wet grip, maybe tyre pressure was a factor blah blah blah My comments are based on my experiences take them how you like :D

i wrote my car off when it had paradas on :( they are amazing in the dry but have next to no grip in the wet and the first time i found that out was the last time i drove the car lol I have Toyo T1R's on the clio now they seem good enough all round and seem to last well.

I only have to keep the gate lifted when coming out of reverse and the gear lever has to be put into second before letting go of the gate and engaging first, if i pull it out of reverse and try and put it into first it will just stick and wont go into 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc until i lift the gate and...

Ive always had 17's but my next wheels will almost certainly be 15's, if for nothing else than the fact that R888's seem a good price in 15, plus by all accounts 15's improve handling characteristics rather than compromise over looks. If i didnt have coils i wouldnt put 15's on tho.

Ive just had basically the same thing happen !! although my exhaust is custom built (well turns out custom half built) gettin the holes/gaps welded today but my car also failed mot coz its too loud !! im hoping it will be quieter without the big holes in, otherwise the old exhaust goes back on...
