your an inspiration we should have the founders of cliosport on the main page in a "whos Who" section with some nice comments on your/their support so the hard work isnt lost as time goes on.
good luck.
a tight 182 will be left by a 172 run in. you need to give it some beans from day 1 in the 182 imo. the 182 is lighter than the 172 and has more power so it is quite a bit faster than a 172... hence the reason why it can keep pace with a CTR upto 130-135.
looks good considering the tight regs on pedestrian safety. cars are to be fitted with bonnet airbags soon. i think its a good idea but the cost will be put onto the consumer.
tidy modern car with all the kit but not one to stir your soul. those cars are a thing of the past.
thats exactly what i mean. its up to him/her if they wanna do it. the 1.2 reference was because its a cheap car to buy insure and round my way these types get modded the most hideously.. nothing against the 1198cc motor.
jap cars are cheap.
there good, but cheap.
dont forget that the latest Subaru Impreza WRX is avaliable in japan for £12,000 new hardly an exotic machine and £15995 over here. sure there reliable but how many 4WD Saloon cars are that cheap new, especially a turbo ?????
there like clio...
coolio.. but TBH i still view it as a marketing excercise more than anything else. sure it will handle amazingly but the 182cup and 172cup already do enough for 99% of drivers.
surley the clio needs better aerodynamics, more torque and a 6th gear. why not wait until these are answered...
depends. cant imagine it being as pliant over UK roads if its more of a track car. are you thinking of taking it on a track.
couldnt you get a 182cup with recaros ? probably exactly the same weight car as a trophy maybe even lighter.
unless you want extreme (in which case get a used elise...
agree ^^ the interior picure is doctored and way. its got blue rear door cards ? yet look at the front door cards, it a cleaver trick to make you think they have changed the interior colours hehe
i like it but you mite aswell get the full fat 182 just for the times you choose not to trash it...
why ? and risk a slap back. if he wants to pay for the insurance and cost of a Cup and mod it like a 1.2 its his choice.
nothing too wrong with exhausts and a lot of work has gone into this.
im sorry but thats a complete rip off !!
so you have a full spec 182 with leather in the rear that you have paid for and they just rip it out ? and replace with shoddy rear bench like the 182cup. so you cant have front and rear matching leather seats with headrests. i care about my passengers...
whats the 0-60 on a 200-205 hp 182 given that the 182 has 179hp and the 200hp will have more torque. standard is obviously been more impressive than quoted renault figures of 7.0 at around 6.7/6.6 could you see sub 6 ?
get an old shape astra. as in a 2001/2002 model. you can get low insurance and a 2.2 ltr 140hp (actually around 145hp) there fast and have lots of grip. cheap to insure aswell at grp 12 i think. they use the same ecotek engine as the 2.2 vx220 150hp.
get an sri with the factory irmsher kit not...
what you gettin next lee ?
i agree to some extent about the getting a cup but as much as people comment on how its rarley needed. personally id like to keep the ABS/EBD?TC systems for safety after all it rains all the time in this country and the roads are sh*te with potholes and poor surfaces...
