Anyone got any re-torque numbers for the nuts and bolts and can you please confirm that I DON'T need spring compressors? Gonna attempt these Saturday.

Yeah got some on Monday, was gonna be fitting them with new cup dampers as well. Might just fit them and see then bang them on eBay for £20 if crap. Is fitting 3 bolts either side on the fronts and 2 bolts either side on the rears and no spring compressor required?

How much for your APEX springs once you've replaced them?:wink:

The rings are a good shout, although a corroded ring didn't bring up a fault for me, i just got the car wanting to spin 180 degrees under hard braking and pedal fart <10mph where the abs is inactive.

That looks like a copy of the higher end SJCAM range as the buttons are the same, looks good and if it does produce 4k quality then an absolute steal. Get some vids up.

If using Clip diagnostics then it will show mate. As far as i know mate they're all the same on the 182 with ESP.

ABS pump and sensor mate. Sensor was defo knackered due to wheel speeds way out on the NSR but what the generic snap on diagnostics didn't state was the ABS computer fault.

Ok so finally managed to sort my ABS, turns out it was the rear sensor and ABS pump. Took it to Garry Burnett a Renault specialist in Warrington and we diagnosed that it was a constant computer fault within the ABS. He told me to try a different pump by just plugging it in without taking the old...

Does this disable the abs as well and give 50/50 bias?

It turns the traction control off but as you say it still feels like something is still interfering, could be stability control maybe. Just pull the ABS fuse if you want full control, but i warn you it does become more of a handful as the bias goes 50/50.

No difference in ride quality? Surely thats a good thing. The drop alone lowers the centre of gravity which helps handing.

Only as good as the Apex which get good reviews for track work...dunno I'll let you know once fitted and set-up.

As above, supposedly rebranded Apex springs and with code PARTS15 are only £30.35 delivered. Read they are really stiff which is good for track use so gonna give them a blast along with some new cup dampers, camber bolts & hunter alignment. Should see some decent benefits at Oulton in August...

@Danith which one have you gone for? I've just ordered the SJCAM SJ4000 wifi with in-car holder for £60 delivered. That was from SJCAM themselves via Amazon as there is sooooo many fakes out there.

Love the VRS and if i didn't have children and dogs I'd defo have one as a commuter.

I find the F1's have a soft sidewall and a softer compound compared to the PS3's so me personally would throw the F1's on the rear.

If you want a compromise between harness and OE belt then look at a CG lock. They keep your lap pinned but you can still reach for s**t in the cabin.
