I don't think you'll be going 60mm lower with Cooksports.
They are only just a bit lower than Eibach Sportlines which give a realistic 20-30mm.
However they would be my springs of choice if I was looking again, nothing but good reviews about them for ride quality and stiffness
Eibachs are...
Need to pull my finger out and actually buy some of these.
Where's the best price?
Heard it was Danny@519.
Anyone know differently before I call him.
Only a small price I know but every little helps ;)
EDIT: Aha, reading fail. For some reason I read it as fitted. Not just the kit. Makes sense now.
This seems ridiculously cheap if you ask me...
Especially with a dephaser included.
I know it's a non official cambelt kit but how much can that save off the genuine price?
I'd be surprised if...
Looks bloody lovely that mate. Not one thing I would change. Really starting to like flamers recently!!
What's the full spec please :) Stance looks perfect too..
Awesome. Any idea how much he paid to rent it for the day? interested to know for a friend.
I can actually remember seeing a car with hire stickers over it now.
I did have a chat with the guys in the blue Clio. I don't think it's on here. He was a retired racing driver. And apparently it...
Yeah that would be good if you could please mate. Any footage of my car would be good :)
Whose Caterham is it then? Lucky to be able to learn in one of those though. THE best driving tools!
Oh cool, I don't remember a pink carerham though.. Must have been ideal for you with it being so quiet then!
I probably have some drive by footage of your car also.
When I've finished editing the video of the other car compilation I'll share the link on here :)
Here's a couple of videos from my day at Bedford recently.
We (I took my dad along) were the first to arrive and ended up being the last to leave as well. Had the track to ourselves at one point in the afternoon.
All in all a very good day and lots of fun. Car was faultless and held up very...
Definitely a write off unfortunately mate. Sorry to hear it. But it'll definitely fix up. Mine was similar. Cost me a grand cash to repair.
Get the pay out but ask for the car too. Keep it, repair it. Bobs your uncle.
With s**t companies yeah. Not decent ones. I know from experience. Someone smashed up my car, bill was something like 7k all in probably. Insurance went down as per usual the following renewal. Everything declared and even more mods added to the policy.
Brentacre FTW
Mike is a great guy. I know from experience myself.
So you only got a generic map in the end anyway? Which is what £150 at a guess?
I'm sure the smoother more efficient running of your engine now is well worth that small outlay!! Whether you can notice it or not.
Live custom mapping would...
Works out about £135 after everything from memory. £125 or so is for the wheel and then £10 or so for postage costs. He charges more but refunds you that difference when you send your old wheel back to him.
This. Or just get an RS-Tuner because you can.
I certainly wouldn't be getting it live mapped if it was a standard engine.
Where did you take it, what before and after power did it make?
