the bolts come out get a pair of pliers on them, they unscrew then simply screw them into the new ones dont screw them all the way in though as theyll warp the plastic and theyll be too short to screw the nuts onto I could only get nuts on 2 of the 3 bolts

trim the bases to fit then brute force, the bolts are long enough if you push hard enough, very difficult on your own but it can be done.

might have come loose in the door, pop the cover off the mirror part, undo the screws, pull the wiring up... think the temp sensor wiring is clipped just inside the door, you should be able to see it.... mine read -31 and flashed when i forgot to reconnect it
