Sounds like ECU to me mate. I had the exact same problem. well im sure it was ECU... the thing wouldnt move. slammed the foot down and everything wouldnt go above 30.

I popped the clear ones of some *****s clio round the corner one night also took the orange bulbs. She used to call me fat when i was younger, so was time for some payback... funny thing is.. i swapped the bulbs around and gave her my orange indicators aswell. haha

Im wanting to drop my car 40mm on my 16inch alloys. Can anyone point me in the right direction, in terms of what to buy to make this possible ?? I really dont know anything about it. What is needed ? What make ? Thanks :)

ahh see thats the problem. i want people to se the difference with my car. they are 16inch and obviously have alot more presence than the new dynamique alloys. Thats why i fancied the 182 anthractie alloys, because people would know its different & i like the thought of that :)

a completly different beast haha. ahh im going to do it haha. has to be done yes. il ned to find good second hand 172 alloys then. spotted a few on ebay. insurance go up much ?? im 18. with pass plus & im the named driver. my dad uses the car just as much as me tho. only £400 a year.

Had my Dynamique for 7 months now. I love it :] p.s - some really nice cars indeed :)

Thanks for the comments guys. The only thing i have done is got clear siderepeaters & i have also cut my standard arial down to a much shorter length & sealed it at the top, even simple things like this give the car a better appearence. :)

I know man that wouldnt be good :/. yeah man he does .. i think he feels cool taking it a wee spin haha ! i dont bother at all because afterall he was generous enough to buy me it. I obviously do more running about in it but he does use it quite regularly aswell if im away out elsewhere or whatever.

ahh yeah man, i just thought about that haha.. but my dad is first name driver ;) + ive still to give them proof of my pass pluss .. to get further money off the insurance :) thanks man.

I decided to take some pics of my clio for the 1st time tonight. I have some mods on the way including anthracite 182 alloys, colour coding, 172/sport front grill, silver door badges, hopefully a cup spoiler & 40mm drop. None of this maxpower malarky which i see around town far too often. Good...

yeah mate i think that is the best plan. after all it is only my first car & i think that it will look rite good. just to add, my car is black aswell which i think looks really really good with the anthracite alloys. thanks for the comments :]

this is a good point aswell. what exact parts do you think i would be looking for ?? how much it would cost ?? i see guys with replicas on here & there saying it cost them between £2000 & £3000 . basically i just want me car to look good without any of this stupid nonsense like you see on...
