Its doing me good so far mate. not too harsh and some of the roads are bad. real nice handling. well worth the money id say.

Think hes just on 60mm apex springs mate

Looks good Speccy :). Just got mine dropped 60mm on apex shocks and springs. arse is sitting a bit lower than the front, hopefully the front will drop a bit after the springs have bedded in.

yes. i thought about just springs, but its pretty dangerous to be honest. thats what many people who have worked with cars all there lives told me. i took the advice onboard.

Nah mate. ive got the full shock and spring kit & its 60mm. any amount of bone shaking is worth the look. handling is good too. like a wee go kart

Im happy with my apex mate. not got anything else to compare it too, but its not THAT bad.

Slap them about a bit first get any loose crap off. Bucket of hot/soapy water and a big brush. Lie the at flat outside and scrub over them then rinse them and let them dry

Mate, you have to measure. I gave you a link to thread. The cars are different. Its likely it will be 58mm but some are 54mm aswell & stuff

never realised you already had them black. Just do what you want mate. Only looks s**t on ridiculous looking cars with horrible wheels.

Personall i like it. Its something there that can be made a whole lot better. What would you rather have.. a rusted caliper ? ? :dead: .. or a nice painted one which catches the eye ?? :approve:

Youre obviously doing something wrong mate. Leaving the soapy water on too long, so it dries in ??do it a panel at a time. rinse it well. then rinse the whole car then wash it again and dont use a sponge :)

Ive got a washing mitt & a sheepskin mitt. Sheepskin mitt, which gos over your hand like a glove. really really smooth. dirt and stuff gets trapped in the sponge. Im sure someone with a better insight into this stuff will be along soon, i fairly new to it :)

Yeah id say your method is all wrong. I wouldnt advise using a sponge either. 2 bucket method , a hose to rinse the car or something along they lines. Use a good shampoo. meguiars gold class shampoo is my choice & the car is black. always a good result. rinse the car well before hand and i...

Apex spring & shock kit + garage labour. Betweenn £400- £500. Just save mate. Its worth it.

All i can say is.. get it all done properly mate. I was going to do 60mm springs standard shocks.. 40mm springs standard shocks.. get a friend to fit them etc etcc. In the end up i bought the whole Apex 60mm shock & spring kit & got it fitted properly. Well worth it.
