Your bulbs might be ok mate, I had this a few months ago on my 172 (Ph2) Put your wipers on, select reverse gear Does your rear wiper come on? If not, your reverse sensor on the gearbox needs replaced. It's located behind the n/s driveshaft on the side of the box

lol I might try the bulb in the passenger side, and the good one in the drivers side - see what happens. I hope the ballast hasn't gone! :S

Checked the fuses this-morning, the o/s fuse had blown so replaced it and tried the lights. No such luck and it blew the bloody fuse again :(

Just a quick question - If one of your xenons is out, am I right thinking the dipped beam light on the dash doesn't show up when you turn them on? :S If not my car is having it's own disco!

A sensible move money-wise and glad you're happy with it mate :) My dad made a scene when I mentioned buying a 2003 172 with 18k on it - I traded in my 2004 dci 80 that I had from new with 36k on it lol ^ That was 2 years ago and the 172 has 37k now :p
