Yeah i use Velco too, makes it nice and easy for a proper clean! Just make sure its free of any wax etc. I tend to wash down with hot fairy liquid, then T cut lol
Nah not yet, its having some paint in a few weeks. I'll give it a full once over come Easter time i think. I used to have a BG 182, lets say i learnt the hard way, but on the whole Renault paint is pretty easy i find. Worse i've done was an Exclusive that had had a full respray in the past...
That headlight misted up lol?
Top work! What did you do with the satin finished bump strips?
Peeps who dont detail dont get how much work goes into a full correction. I wont even bother for less than £100, which some peeps think is dear!
Not used, was a failed project for my 197. Just checked they work with a ballast/starter on the bench, perfect working order. Expensive from Renault, over £50 EACH!!!

:approve:
I've also driven both, with having a 197 for 18 months and a mate who's got a 200 cup.... My 197 had 40k under its belt, and felt strong. The main difference i found was the quicker rack on the cup chassis, very noticable.
The one thing i dont miss about 197 is the kangarooing and flat spots...
Not a chance. I've had RS Clios shod with Bilstiens, H&R and GAZ (fail). They (GAZ) ruined the car big time. Shocking imo. As said above, you get what you pay for at the end of the day
Dunno, i kinda feel its part of all Renaults, so i leave it. The ones i do remove are dealer, and the Renault register ones fitted to driver/passenger windows
I personally wouldnt bother. Maybe wait for a New RS is a few years time? Only real change is a *slight* improvement in low down grunt, and the suspension, which you've already sorted.
