^^dont worry you can use t cut on your paint or scratch x etc,it wont damage your paint, i personally would use something like clearkote hand glaze, but i suggested t cut because everyone knows it

yeh dent people are a good idea, but try touching it up, use a coctail stick instead of the brush, apply the paint, then apply the gloss, leaving it slightly proud, then but it back with t-cup, if dont properly you will never see it
poss centre section, it sounds the same as what mine did, to check just bang it and if it rattles then its that, !!they replaced centre section and it stopped it on mine, one word of warning though they cut your exhaust to join it and its mostly a bodge job, ie. pipes dont line up, and it will leek
