Isnt it a 100 cell cat. plus....the 172 manifold is 4-1. The extra power comes from the 182 arrangement of 4-2-1, correct me if i am wrong.

If you can get the dash out, you can get the surround off. replaced the centre section of a 182 dash with a sat nav screen surround, was pretty simple, but fiddly.

If you were local, I would give it a go. MDF is dirt cheap. You need to decide what sort of volume you want, which depends on your speakers. Then do you want ported/unported? There are loads of configurations for buiding the boxes and how the speakers are placed.
