thats always the best option. i always say dont do it if you dont know what you are doing because you will hava go, get it wrong and pay to have it done anyway.

you will need to primer the filler before you put any color on there mate then you will need more than a touch up pen to cover them or it will look terrible.
they do paint for all types of vehicles but the quality of the paint isnt that good imo i used it to do that respray on my mates astra GSI project and the colour had faded within a couple of months, plus it takes loads of coats to cover before its not seethrough anymore.

they probly want to blend into the wings as reds are know to be a pain in the arse for matching so if they blended into the wings it wouldnt look stupid. its not a way of hiding a bad colour match, its how its done properly.
