Use a flat head screwdriver wrapped in cloth and they just pop out :) very careful not to snap any of the clips though

At the end of the day you modify a car for yourself and it doesn't matter what other people think, so if this is what you want to do then you go for it mate :) I think the door cards look great!
My car was in a similar state this morning but decided to give it a wash today. Started in a jumper and coat and ended up just doing it in a tshirt! I'm sure it'll be just as mucky again once I've driven it tomorrow though :(
I live in bubwith near selby but I'm in selby quite often. I've only had the car on the road for about a week so that's probably why you've not seen it haha
