Ok, so some kind arse face decided to connect thier foot with my drivers door over the weekend...it's quite a "shallow" "smooth" dent and luckily no damage to the paint. It's the sort of dent where if you were to sit on the bonnet it would flex in, although in thise case it hasn't popped out...
managed to clay the roof, bonnet and front bumper this evening! woop!
I actually quite like the dirty wheels! lol all the cleaning has highlighted a fair few chips and scratches though :( still...happens to us all I guess
very nice!
wish I had a tunnel like that near me for pics! although how can you be in a tunnel but have reflections of trees on the car?!? at the end of the tunnel?
I wouldn't do that unless you have some sort of body kit or at least get it cut into the standard bumper.
will look a bit odd just hanging under the bumper in the middle...up to you though I gues..
I'm not much of a fan of kits anymore but please tell your mate to atleast do the following...
Spray the mesh black
Colour code the mirrors
Get a shorter ariel
Loose the shocking seat covers and get a 1*2 interior in there
and burn those freaky monkey seat belt harnesses...they are just...
yup defo offset for the indicators..
k tech racing will sell the clear side repeaters, halfords probably do aswell..
not sure on the headlight bulbs though sorry!
lol! It really was, for some reason my camera made it look cleaner in the pics, hadn't been washed for about 3 weeks and I drive down a rather scuddy country lane every day to get to work so it was a right state! lol
haha sorry, nothing I can do about that one! Looks like another good day...
you young man are crusin' for a brusin' lol!
Thanks! :approve:
haha I only clayed the wings, doors, rear quater, boot and rear bumper, still got the roof, bonnet and front bumper to do. Most of it was ok, only down the bottom edge by the skirts and wheel arches needed a bit more elbow...
lol just! it's raining now though! doh!
was raining when I went to work but I saw it brighten up coming to the end of the day so I slipped out at 4 to clean the car ;)
A break in the cloud!!! woop woop!!
So my car has gone from this...
to this in the space of 2.5hours..
preparing for FCS...
Washed with Megs Gold Class and wash mitt
Megs QD and Clay
AG SRP
haven't done the roof, bonnet, front bumper or wheels yet, thats...
Had the whole front grill nicked off the front of my Mk2 Golf when I had it...they obviuosly struggled trying to get the badge so took the whole grill! fookers! wasn't bothered tho as I was planning on getting anew "sporty" one anyway! lol
for most it will be too late tho....I really looked after mine and it had only like 42k on the clock when I got it so was great...most these days it's too late....very few would have been looked after and to bo honest the opnly reason most of them will be up for sale is due to so much either...
don't think it matters where your car is Lusty, It's gonna get noticed!
best to get there as early as pos to sort the stand op....defo before 9 as thats when it opens to the public and gets even harder to move the cars about...
good Idea but you got the order wrong...Monaco Blue 172's would be at the top as there are less of them than Trophys ;)
Infact, how many liquid yellow 182's are there? probably even less...Trophy's reduced to 3rd place ;) :rasp:
