Very very easy to fit in my experience, just requires a gentle touch as opposed to brute force.
Basically behind the light cluster you will see the bulb holders, if you twist them by 45 degrees or so the bulb will simply pull out of the cluster, then simply change the bulb and pop back in and...
Its not so much oversteer mate, its more that twitchy back end when taking sweeping bends - especially under any sort of braking (yes yes don't break when cornering idd).
But just wondered if anybody had more success.
Hi folks,
My 172 is sitting on Koni adjustables with Eibach sportlines, however i was wondering if anybody had any hints about the suspension setup and the ideal tensions for each strut.
Currently i have them a little firmer at the back in an attempt to stop the back sliding out when...
Thought it had negative effec ton the ECU when the CAT was scrapped due to the lambda's telling the ECU the cat is no longer working - therefore being restrictive with power etc and altering AF mix
Indeed i have sportlines on my 172 with adjustable Koni's. They won't drop much more than 10mm, but personally i wouldn't want the car much lower, otherwise the numper is going to take a kick in when i park at work.
60-65mm diameter is indeed apparently best. Just wish someone would develop a decent solution for the decat situation with the lambda sensors.
I also wanted a decent exhaust system, but i really don't fancy having to put up with motorway noise and also don't want to look/sound like some sort...
Would it run ok without a remap though, as a remap is around £300 right?
If i was to book in with you next Friday Ben, when could the work be done for? Cheers.
Funniest thing i've seen recently is some Hyundai Accent with the crappy '5 spoke alloy' look-a-like hub caps, but to top it off, they had plastic circular discs just behind them which were also drilled...next time i see it im bagging a photo.
I modified my bulbholders with a stanley knife to cut the correct notches needed to fit into the cluster, then was just a simple case of changing over certain wires to match the correct output.
And what your saying im afraid is wrong. If you want over complicated and unintuitive menu systems buy a creative, if you want bloated software buy a creative, if you want a product that is just plain fugly buy a creative.
The fact is mate, its horses for courses, but im afraid whether you...
My mate has the new Video iPod 30gb, however the fact is plays videos is pretty much defunct. Watching anything for 2 hours on a 3" screen is just plain daft. Oh and then theres the fact that you can expect 2 hours maximum battery life when viewing video.
Bought my GF a Nano (in white, as the...
So your saying that even without any other modification other than a decent panel filter you can get a 13bhp gain from this work everytime?
If so im very interested.
So your after 17/195/45 if your alloys are 17X7 or maybe 17/205/45 if they are wider fit.
To be honest tyres is something i would tend to steer clear of skimping on, they are keeping you on the road after all, so in that sense i would say (and with winter n all) some decent...
Aye was veerryyy wet, times like that my Clio was RWD as the understeer you get blows in the wet.
Indeed a poor quality video, which is what i said in my first post (blame mocco as he filmed it) but i suppose it demonstrates that a 172 will destroy a ZT should you want to.
Meggerman showed me some videos of a Fabia vRS diesel fitted with Jabbasport, pretty sure if you PM him he will gladly host the videos, seems pretty rapid.
Aye thats what i said, must have been kids for whatever reason because they could have thrown Nitromors/Paint/Keyed it if i had really pissed someone off; but they were well behaved chavs because they even put their flour bag in my bin instead of discarding it on the street.
Thats the thing...
