Sounds more like your driving style than a problem with the car. Should'nt be putting the car into first unless stationary or at most a couple of mph.. (eg less than 5)
I am a pussy with long high speed bends as I spun my first Clio at 70mph on one but the car feels much more planted with them on and allows me to "dare" to take them faster.
I seriously fell out with mine when I fit them but that's because I'm a 20 Y/O r****d who got given some air tools a ramp...
Sorry hadn't seen the replies on here. I'm not sure I agree with the comments about them being very soft, as mine is at the moment, bodyroll is drastically reduced the car no longer hunches forward under hard braking.
On bumpy country roads they're ace they do bump a bit more than STD but not...
That's Renault tunepoint fitted to mine, had to remove the CD changer under my seat because there is only one connection on the tape deck.
Works with iphone too, says it isn't supported when you plug it in but if you play a song on shuffle before you plug it in then it works fine and you can...
On a side note I just told my insurance about the coilovers. Listed as suspension lowered.
£37 ! not too bad :)
Uncles garage is just a tyre fitting place really, they do exhausts and MOT's/light servicing too but not really anything else!
Nah they do lazer tracking but they don't have the tools for camber / castor / toe :(
Shame as I would quite like to try it myself, looks easy from the videos. What's ideal camber ?
positive 1 ? as when someone is in the car it will go towords negative anyway wont it ?
thanks for the link.
Came out of my work to my old 182 to be met with my 3/4 plate lying on the floor in front of it lol.
Make sure you buy a couple of the sticker pad things from halfords. Would advise using 4 instead of 2.
I sanded mine dry lol. Remember to wash the handles in soapy hot water and dry them well before you primer !
My coats took about 20 mins to dry before I could add the next but I used a hair dryer to speed it up.
Cheers :)
