All I meant was get the massive blobs off the roof first so you don't saturate the towel then spritz QD & dry. :(
There shouldn't be much to dry on the sides anyway if it's well waxed (which it is.)
Just squeeze it out will be fine, you can go really ott with cleaning.
He's using a proper drying towel barron, a squeegy is like worst then a chamois lol !
I was stood there thinking fook me this looks harsh, oh well they came out ok for the fella in the guide.
Then when I had done I though "b****cks" sat with the machine polisher on them for about half an hour and knackered a cutting pad !
They will be alright... Eventually!
"The black & red barron"
"During a daring evasive manouver involving a complex series of barrel rolls"
I actually think mods should change Cunneys name to the black & red barron.
Thanks :)
Just gonna change all the tatty stuff like the steering wheel then lightly track prep it - coils seats and brakes probably.
I think I'm going to become very good friends with Mr 800 grit :dapprove:
I figured I may as well do one of these as I never bothered with my 182 because I hardly changed anything on it !
However I have a direction with this car.
Ph1 172, 60k FRSH.
First job is to tidy it up, so far I have replaced the aerial with a standard item
(£12 from Renault ! should have...
I'm up for it :)
I also feel the need to mention that I had now tripoded :rasp: never dared in my 182!
You can help me change my steering wheel too hah.
Will be getting coilovers & some different seats then the brakes overhauled and maybe a set of track wheels. Want to be able to return it to standard when I'm done with it but I will take it on track !
It's where it belongs ! :rasp:
