All sorted, they came off eventually. Once again brute force wins :D. I think I annoyed all my neighbours with the noise though. Cheers for the tip about turning it 180 degrees Chris, i think that helped too.

I fear this is the case.... bloody thing...

Im just changing my front brake discs, and have removed the caliper assembly, and removed the two torx screws that hold the disc on, but i cant get the disc off. It seems well and truly rusted on. :@ I thought it was supposed to just pull off, but its not having any of it, even with the use...

Out of interest, how useable are these pads on the road? I dont necessarily intend to use them day to day, but are they ok for driving to / from a circuit? What do you do y0z? Do you run them on the road too?

Ive ordered a kit, looking forward to finding out just how good they are for myself :D

A PDA + TomTom setup is about the cheapest you are going to get, and works great in my opinion. Great to be able to put POIs like speed cameras, and Pizza Huts on it too :D Got mine in bits of eBay, but the site above is very well priced too.

Its the only thing im not sure about with the red vee. Dont mind the gearbox / centre console bit, but Id rather the strips on the dash were silver. Ive never really liked the cheap carbon fibre effect ones on the dash of my mk2 172 either. I much prefer the silver ones on my mums Dynamique...

Works great in IE, doesnt seem to do anything in Firefox, unless i have some popup blocking going on. :confused:

Yeah, i think all webcams can do this, its nothing special on the camera, just depends on the software. The software is set to triger when the image changes by a certain amount (i.e. someone walks into shot). You can then set it to record for so long after each trigger. My 5 year old Creative...

Some had an aluminium bonnet which would save a fair bit of weight, not sure which one these weights would be from though. I guess the rest is just down to the different dash / interior / toys / rear bumper. Those 15" OZ F1s have got to be lighter than the heavy Mk2 wheels too id have thought.

Ive made one for my 172 (presumably he had the same seats). Works great, and cost a couple of quid to make. What info you after?

I live just down the road from Peter Greens, the other side of the industrial estate. :) That will be the phantom Williams that people seem to keep spotting, but doesnt seem to visit cliosport. Do you know BluePete? Hes at Bournemouth Uni I believe.

Yeah, nice to hear from another local owner. Theres a quite a few of us from the Southampton and Portsmouth areas. Loads more if you go as far as Bournemouth way. You should come along to the next southern meet (whenever that is?)
