are you connected via a router? was it working ok before? if so unplug all the connections and turn all power off and just re-connect and boot up again. try that mate. sometimes routers can play up, if you have one anyway

Thinking about it again, it might be security under internet options, make sure this is set to internet and check the level it's set to. If no luck try privacy settings also under internet options

checked the firewall settings and what they or it is blocking? try open your internet browser and reset all possible settings under the advanced section. hope that helps Tom
