I haven't got a review to see what the 'experts' say wth regards to Sharp's analogue quality guys, but it could be the case of being better with digital signals.
My budget is really £900 tops, so have only included a couple of cheaper 37" LCD's, will most likely go for a 32" to ensure I get...
I've shortlisted my LCD TV purchase to the following models, all highly rated by What Plasma & LCD TV magazine, so I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever I choose, but has anyone had any experience with any of the following models?
Viewsonic N3760W
Toshiba 32WLT66
Sharp LC-32GA8E (not...
Lol, nah it's good quality paper... I'd say 200gsm at least so will be going nowhere near my arse. Plus it's quite an old printout so is kinda yellow and manky.
Might make a decent table mat though...
Re: 14bhp from an I/K?
It gets funnier mate, look at 'my car'. :S Hmm, 10bhp increase from new!?!
I think it must be an unreliable RR, or they are fixing results a bit to please customers. It's one in the SW, called Rowleys Garage (Rowleys Performance Engineering).
I knew the '182'...
Just been looking through all the paperwork that came with my car and there's some RR results from a local garage that the previous owner had done.
Now, I know that the figures aren't reliable in themselves, but the results show:
Before I/K fitted: 140bhp @ wheels (6000rpm) - 182bhp @ fly...
If it's sat on your drive then get the tools out and back to standard sharpish!
The guy sounds decent, but don't take anything he says as gospel, it's amazing how people's opinions and stories change when they talk to different people. I'd get his car booked in to get fixed asap so he can't go...
I would be very surprised if he owns a CTR but doesn't know that you can turbo a car... well, no, I suppose that's par for the course with them Honda drivers... ;)
I wouldn't just give him the full amount, try to pay off the remainder of finance and then give him the rest.
Although, £6.5k isn't an amazing price for a Cup anymore, prices are tumbling all the time, so do a bit of research before shelling out.
As above, TPFT covers the other party involved in any accident, or your car if it's nicked or set alight... so you won't be able to claim back anything towards your own.
I learnt the hard way when I had TPFT on my old 106 XSi and crashed it, it's hard to actually get to grips with just losing...
All very confusing but these cases are all very unfortunate.
If the copper arrived afterwards then you may be able to fight the whole dangerous driving thing if you get in touch with the other driver and try to get him on your side, saying it was just an unavoidable collision at legal speeds...
Anyone know whether it would be wise to go to someone who refurbishes wheels by first dunking them effectively in an acid bath to completely strip them, and then refurb?
Apparently someone does it local to me and it reduces costs... :S
That sounds like b0llocks to me mate... once it's signed for then that's that, unless UPS incover something in any investigation they take part in.
Take a suprise trip to his house, what are the odds he's got all 4 wheels sat on his car?
Dan's working in Exmouth now so it's likely he's in and around Exeter occasionally.
Yeah I've noticed a few newer CS's recently in Exeter, mostly driven by older ladies with too much money spent on "the nicest Clio I can get..."
Think I paid around £30 for mine, but you will also need to buy a set of the newer style 2.0L badges. I sprayed mine myself for the time being, but wold recommend getting a bodyshop to do them.
Yeah was thinking the same thing. Once he signs for it then he has confirmed that he has checked the package and is happy with the contents and condition of them. Delivery drivers will happily wait a few minutes while you unpack something to make sure it's in good condition, saves them grief in...
