No point tbh, the information will be displayed on tghe head unit itself. And as for the screen that 'did' display the information when the standard unit was in, just shows the clock, thats all its needed for tbh!

Might be a short circuit behind the head unit wires. try taking the head unit out and unplugging it, and see if the clock is working then.
