?????????? dont know what you mean, i never had a normal 172 so i cant comment on them, i did have a cup and i have to say i prefer the 182, simple as
the 172 cup made sense over the normal 172 IMHO (proper weight saving, unique colour, better alloys, noticable speed difference etc etc) , but...
hey look what i got today., i think someone else mentioned this before but never mind

^^yeh i saw a new racing blue cup at renault nottingham on saturday, and that had lack of paint around the front spotlight, and a sort of dimple effect, also had patchy bits on the back bumper and had little defects all over its paint (i.e dust that was sprayed on top of), and also the car had...
yeh i think that too, paint seems a lot better than the cup i had before, and the doors seem to line up better, etc, also the cup had a little crease just on the wheel arch at the back under the petrol cap from new, but i saw this on a few 172s too dunno why it was there ??
right what does everyone think about the paint quality of there 182s, have you had any problems from new, is the paint finish same on the plastic bumpers as it is on the body panels
do all your panels fit ok, and are your doors in line on both sides.
did you find any bumps in your paint work...

yeh dont do the cup, get a proper 182 for a little more, i got one and im well happy, i was offered a proper 182 for £12.500 from renault nottingham, in the end i got one for £10.500 though, and i have never looked back.
yeh should be ok, i think darker bits on the 182 look good personally, like the alloys i didnt like them on other colours but when i saw them on the racing blue i thought they really suited it
LOL, i have the same problem with mine, first time i started to slow thinking there was a police speed trap ahead !!, i also then thought my self leveling system was knackered, looks like thet are just to bright
you can use a razor and shave the bobbles off, something like a bic, use the other halfs leg razor, ps this is a serious post , try it you will find it works
dont mean to piss you off, but they are selling for about £10.500 on autotrader, they are quite a few more that have higher prices on them but they have been on for weeks and just arent shifting, i know coz was looking for ages and the same ones kept appearing, and even the cheaper ones didnt...
yeh there a good idea, mine is a uk car so has proper renault alarm, but i just had this to give me the key protection ?, as theres alot of car theft in the nottingham area
sorry to hear your bad news, I just had an alarm fitted to mine and you need to enter a code before starting the car, even if you have the keys, i would like to see the little b******s get mine
