dont know if your confused or me but you can get a normal 182 with cup packs or a 182 cup, the only difference between the 2 is 182 with cup packs has all the goodies and costsa little more also it weighs very slightly more, the 182 cup doesnt have leather seats, or zenon lights or engine cover...

i assume you mean the 182 cup without leather etc,if so i would buy a normal 182 as you will regret it later, you can get them for about 11.5k -12k or a second hand one with a few miles for 10k-10.8k

you will see it, if you look on the windscreen from the outside on the passenger side, its just under the airbag sign thats on your screen, its a black plate about 2inch long and half an inch wide with white letters on it, but as j3ned says the vin number you have checked is the proper one

there is a panel about 2 inch wide on the passenger side with the vin on it, you can see it from the outside

there isnt the usual one in the engine bay stamped on , there is one ontop of the dash though
