The metal i used was strengthened metal used for structual work and its bolted to the runners and the seat side mounts so it should be stiffened enough
to get the side bump strips off you open the door and slide the bump stripes towards the door they should come out easily then...
when off you :
1. sand down bumpstripes ( i used an electric sander )
2. Spray a couple of coats of plastic primer onto the strips ( leave time to dry between...
buy a sparco clio specific subframe...
the side mounts when mounted to the seats will be wider than the runners on the subframe...sooooo....
buy a strip of metal and cut it into 2 making sure it is wider than the runners and bolt the seat to the metal strips
buy cobra extra low subframes... then put a metal bar across the runners and mount the side mounts to the bar,
you need the bar as the sidemounts are wider than the runners
is it just me or would these alloys look quite good on a slammed clio mk2 with 5mm spacers on the rear ?
