Like we've said the bigger the screen the worse the digital compression appears onscreen. Go back to your mates and stick one of the music channels/shopping channels on and it will look 100 times worse.
You'll be ok for 3meg over IPstream and "should" be ok if for 4meg if there's a LLU supplier in your area.
(SNR is shown as "Noise Margin" on your router)
By looking at your Attenuation, SNR compared against your current sync rate you can get a good idea of what speed your line will physically support.
Most decent routers "should" report these stats with a good degree of accuracy.
Any phone number or database you check with will only tell you the max speed your exchange supports whether it's ADSL over IPStream or LLU or ADSL2+ over LLU.
Only physically checking the relevant properties of your line will tell you the real (physical) speed it can support.
Anything else...

Fancy doing pills in the back of a van.. tut tut
Was it as boring as it came across on TV??
I'm one of F1 biggest supporters on here but todays race was the most boring I've seen in about 2 years and the crowd looked a 3rd of it's normal size.
Perhaps I should have been more patient but it was painfully slow*. Will try it again with 32 bit as that's nearly downloaded now.
* - Not a slow PC either. AMD FX-57, 7800GT, 2gig....
Anyone having any luck?
Tried installing the 64 bit version but it's SOOOOOOO slow. It just sit's there for ages then a window will appear, then sit's there for ages and something else appears.
After 40 minutes I'd only reached 80% copying files....
Trying the 32 bit version now.
