it was sold straight away mate!! and from what i remember a member bough it, and it only lasted a couple of weeks on theres! so they mustnt of liked either! shame cos it fit really well!! good finish etc, have you got a cat? will prob be ok with a cat!
how many miles has it done? it sounds like its breathing heavily, poss worn piston rings etc! probably not much you can do with out mega expensive! a very small amount is normal!
get different opinions mate, there was one on mine with a decat, and it sounded s**t! really tinny and raspy! only stayed on a week!

there is a psecial tool yes, or you can use a deep 14MM socket, 3/8 drive, and an extension bar, and use some long nose pliers or a magnet to get the plugs out of the hole!
My first mod, even though its been here before! Many thanks to Mr d.brown for selling me the prospeed and swapping bumpers!!, Finally got it fitted, had to wait to have it welded as the middle section had cracked! Im really happy with it, sounds great, non of this fart in a bean tin raspy...
i have this job!!:cool: when they fail at work its always the first thing, petrol/diesel additive, then a nice warming!!! you want to see some of the diesels! i go down the bypass to a roundabout and then back throught the smoke trail! 3rd gear flat all the way, basically giving a petrol a good...
after driving them both i couldnt believe the difference, the 182 didnt feel as alive (it was a 182 cup), the 172 just feels like it wants to bite you constantly!
even thought there both mint value for money, just depends how much you like your luxurys etc!
