Ihad a peco on my astra diesel.... only because i wanted a zorst to improve the look and nobody made one, so got one of them and made some brackets to fit! it wasnt cheap either, £14o, i thought that was quite dear for a shitty steel thing!
if it wont pic the signal up it wont start, hot or cold, obviously it could be something else! without looking or having it on diagnostic you cant really say what it is, good place to start though!
yeah, just make sure you get the wires the same otherwise it will never go, do one at a time, so cut the top one off, solder that across to the top one on the new sensor, then repeat for the bottom one!
to be fair mate, the air filter shouldnt have anything to do with your coolant temp if thats what you mean? it may not be in the best place for clean air, but it wont make it overheat?
ask them mate, thats how they used to be from renault, i presume they must have been having problems with the plug/connection, when we have a new one at work it always comes with a new plug and little piece of loom.
The limit is 1.6mm over centre 3/4 off the tread, if they are below they will fail, if there on 1.6mm they should pass with advise, but it only has to be below in one place round the tyre to fail!
