Foam is better for spreading most products, whereas an MF applicator give you the ability to work a product a bit more.
For example, I use a foam applicator for wax, and an MF app for Werkstat Prime.
I've just given the car its 4th wash since CSS (4 months) and its first in about 2 months (now sitting on the drive instead of the garage).
It was pretty shitty tbf, and apart from the boot/bumper the protection still seems to be there :)
I opted for a NEX-5N, which is essentially a posh PAS camera.
It suits me fine in >80% of condiions with more carryability (invented word), It will fit in my winter coat pocket with the 18-55mm lense.
However, (IMO) lack of viewfinder is a major set back. So much so that I want another...
Oh yeah, on trim its hard to go too wrong really. Paint is another matter though. If you've got G4 there's not much point in getting Aero303

Most temporary trim products require the same amount of work (G4 etc aside), but a bottle will last a LONG time.
I can't comment on the highly regarded AF revive.
