looks very nice, needs cup spoiler and splitter, a wash, polish, metal polish exhausts and gloss the tyres :)
Out of interest where did you get your 2118's in anthracite? Im getting somemore soon but the last set I had were white
oh i would definately downgrade to a 182 if I owned a 197 and needed to free up some cash, just think of the arguments people have over whats better etc
lovely motor though
bought it back, got a few things to get it back upto how it was looking
First step is wait for my new coilovers to arrive :) cant wait to drop it 6-7 inches on the front and about 5 on the rear, stance FTW!
Got a few plans but more so on the power front, maybe do a bit more to the...
being totally honest I do swear by aas, however of late the systems that ive seen arent producing many increases in power :( and he has a 3 month waiting list
There is clearly an underlying reason why he hasnt left the car with them,
Its either been running well once ran in then he's kicked its head in and now its running like a lump of s**t?
I cba to read the dribbling on in other threads about whats wrong but sounds like the fact you've ran it...
yeah they both were mate
I only sold the s1 as it was too good to use on an everyday basis, if I had the money I would've kept it and put it in the garage
Warren - gone for some vmaxx again, great ride for the roads round my end as I can have them really low, me mate austin-182 has gaz on...
Well after messing around with a few 106 rallye's ive decided to purchase my old 172 back, I miss its little touches etc, its since had two new tyres, cambelt and aux belt changed and a few bulbs replaced
Im quite excited to get it back and shall be ordering up a few special bits and bobs :)...
lovely looking motor mate, by far my favourite colour for a 182

that was mine on 16s, looks a similar height to this if not a tad lower, but you dont really get any problems with driveability, it depends how hard the shocks and sprint rates are, if they're soft then you will probably get lots of...
Re: The lowwwwwww ph2 remake - Progress Thread
As for the rear, I'd go no more than 65mm/70mm on it
90mm looks crap, 80mm wont look much better, 70mm should be spot on
It wants the back raising 20mm and the front dropping 20mm and it should still hold its original stance just with a 4 inch...
Re: The lowwwwwww ph2 remake - Progress Thread
as for 'making it look as good'
well you've already failed as the colour of foxy's was lovely, I personally would love to see a grey 172 replica, but I honestly dont think it will look as special in silver
Re: The lowwwwwww ph2 remake - Progress Thread
thats not much work at all, go out with your C-spanner, be a man and winde those front coilovers down another 2 inches
