As far as I know there haven't been any recalls, but they do have problems with the exhaust, engine mounts, strut tops and engine temperature sensor. None of these are major issues, and I'm sure the enjoyment you get from the car will more than make up for them, because to be honest they will...
I'm stuck with o2 business. I've been with them for so long that I'm stuck with them, if I want to swap to the normal arm of o2 I'd have to join as a new customer.
Apparently I can have any phone I want for free though, but I don't get many nice offers.
I've been on the phone to o2 today as my contract ran up last week. They've got a really piss poor choice of phones as usual.
I'm going to wait for the Nokia 6280, which they reckon they'll get in March.
I know, I had mine done on the 182 and the Trophy is in next Tuesday. Plus the exhaust is already starting to go, as it did on my 172 and 182. I've had pretty much the same faults on all 3 cars. Luckily a decent drive always reminds me why I put up with them.
I've had a 172, 182 with Cup packs and now the Trophy. Twice I've looked at buying a CTR, first the original one, then the updated one. On both occasions I decided I really didn't like the engine and that I'd soon get tired of having to thrash it so hard.
I stayed with the Clio each time and...
This has taken a back seat for me since I got the Xbox 360.
I see GTR2 is on the way. Looks like I'll have to play it at work though as I'm not really up for spending a fortune on an upgrade at the moment.
Cup. I had a 172 and wish I'd had a Cup, if you intend to drive it hard the Cup is the better of the two in standard trim.
You lot and your xenon fixation, they light up less of the road than the standard lights lol they just look nice.
The first time mine did it I took the car in and they couldn't replicate it. The second time they saw it happen but then couldn't replicate it but changed the sensor anyway, the third time it happened they replicated it, but the clip showed nothing so they did nothing. The 4th time they...
No, I had this problem a while ago.
The problem is you can't take out insurance on a car with no MOT. I think trailer or trade plates are the only way in which you can legally sort this.
I had a guy from the garage collect it in the end for me after he had carried out certain checks before...
Mine is all sorted now.
New sensor (again) new connector and new loom.
Now all I have to worry about is the exhaust and engine mounts, which are being looked at next week.
I learnt the hard way that when buying second hand a HPI check is a must these days.
Almost ended up taking some bloke to court, in the end he gave me my old car and money back for fear of trading standards closing down his body shop!
b******s.
Mine was parked up in Telford over night at the Madeley Court hotel.
I think they would have taken my mates WR1 or FRS though, as we parked together. Going to get together for some pics and a day at Curborough at some point too.
