yeah i think what audio one was on about is that caps require charging
they will discarge into the amp on a low note but will then take power away from the amp to recharge
ideally an uprated alternator/battery combo is better
its best to get the highest rating possible (will run cooler if not at full load)
also if you can afford it get a true sine wave inverter rather than a modified sine (actually square wave), because they produce less noise in electronic components.
the sound would still be messed up if it has a divide in the box and the speakers out of phase. because the speakers would be creating oppersite pressures inside the car

if they are just an orange backing, they could be just sanded off with 1200 grit wet or dry and leave it white

well the way i look at it is the hid lamps are just a different means of producing light. so the light reflector that produces the light beam would not need to be changed
yeah the 10,000K ones id imagine to be very blue/purple
ive seen h4 ones that were £600 (from a british company) that actually did do the hi/lo beams which i think are the ones you need on a mrk 1.
the plugs i think dont matter what car their for, it just needs to be the same bulb type (h4...
