yeah the pop will be the amp
most amps have a sort of "soft on/off" circuit
i doubt the splx has one so i wouldnt bother checking anything else to be honest
yeah i dynamated my doors and boot lid this weekend and it has helped alot but the bump strips still rattle (and theres still another sub to go in yet)
yeah that should do it i think ill have too wait till next weekend till i sort it
yeah they are fitted correctly (http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=5&TopicID=120549&PagePosition=4this is why)
yeah i dont fancy glueing them to the bodywork

i know most off the inside rattles but it does sound stupid from the outside with the plastic on metal rattle
Has anyone suffered from this???
Is there anyway you can stop it???

(the black one)
i saw a honda civic going down the m4 once like that
the roof had rusted and the wing mirror was also missing
but the driver was driving like a complete tw*t:@ so probably deserved it
well you could use the 4 ch amp but if you bridge a 4 ch amp of say 4x 100 Watts you would be pushing out 2x 200 watts bridged.
so you could get a 4 ch amp and only use two chs for the time being until you try amping the rears

yeah it might make them quiet if the speakers have a higher rating than the amp
or they could melt if you have too powerful amp
go for an amp with about 20w RMS output more than the speakers
1. buy speakers with a RMS stated power (max power only is a sign of cheapness)
2.2 channel just for the front comps
3.yes (look for the pre-out voltage)
4. you can useually hide the cross overs in the dash some where
do you want to have 2 amps runnning two subs???
if so you just need to get some distribution blocks for your power cables and maybe a "Y-splitter" for your rca lead
i had exactly the same with mine(sometimes it cut-out when changing gear to slow down for junctions)
i think they changed TDC sensor ECU and the TB and that seemed to do the job
the protection light should be off (it only comes on when there is a fault)
have you got a LPF on that shouldnt be on???
are all of the other settings ok on the amp(gain etc)
ive done a search and found some nice installs:)
i still need some ideas on my boot install
ive got 2 infinity perfect 12s and a JL 1000/1
1) will they fit?
2) where could i mount the amp (quite big:( )
i like the idea of using some fibreglass for the boxes
any ideas will be taken...
