it will be the software matey. I have the same issue with Nero so if it doesnt work with Nero I use VSO ConvertXtoDVD which works perfectly. Also i presume you are using .avi files

dont get me wrong all providers need to do work on their service so there are going to be issue with downtime and so on but Be are one of the providers that actaully tell you what is going on and give you helpfull info.

waste of time ringing them imo

just run 1 main PC directly into the modem/router at the time it is happening to see if the issue goes away.

if it is happening at the same time then it could be traffic measures being put in place

If you read up on Be there main point / focus is broadband so they are going to try and supply the best at all times. yes i admit at present because they are not overloaded as shuch then things are looking good but as time goes on and more people sign up then things could alter but i hope not......

Well that is down to AOL and Tiscali, they charge a similar price for a uncapped service but the speed is always going to be slower. It is more cost affect for a company to have LLU thats why they can offer superb deals like free calls, free boradband and so on..........

i think you should get Be also ;) give them a call and see what speeds you are looking at. Also the service from them is going to be far better than Sky. I ordered mine yesterday and it is going live on the 10th, now that's pretty quick!!!!!

Yep got HD and for movies and sport its amazing!!!!!! also i have come across nat geo type programs which look pretty good aswell :o

all companies have a fair usage policy even Be. Its wat they write in them that counts lol ;)

There are always load of options and thats what confuses alot of people. That site is good and has always helped me out. My Dad is actually going to migrate from AOL to Sky when he is back of Holiday simply to benefit from the cheaper price of combining our current Sky HD package with the 16Mb...

see i am 680 meters from my exchange and Be said that i should see around 20 - 22 Mbs which is good enough for me :)
