i wouldnt say its as good as a tomtom and yes there are hidden charges, basically when you get tghe phone all you get is a standard map and a route planner type instructions, if you want voice guidance like a tom tom then you need to pay a subsrciption.

is the light red or green on the sky box. if its red then it is in stand by so you will need to go to services and then (5) SKy + setup and the setting is there.

where did you get the mixer from u prat

well you know its not the cd player at fault then so it could be the mixer, double check over the phono cables and stuff........

also check the mixer, is there any fader or balance to left/right settings.

are you still using the cd player as an amp?
