Silver Mk1 172 on the Alphington road, trundling in traffic towards Marsh Barton at about 3:30/4:00...
Also a lovely looking Trophy on Fore Street closer to 2:00, haven't seen it before...
:)
Get it sorted! Reckon the SW boys are starting to become the most active on this forum... talk of another varied meet every other day at the moment. ;)
There's this magical thing called customer service and loyalty which in turn has this crazy ability to lead to repeat purchase and greater custom through word of mouth.
Renault don't believe in this theoretical science however...
When a date goes up then I'll be doing my utmost to make it mate, I've already missed two meets since getting my 172!
I'm working this Sunday (1 in 4) but am around and about plenty... :)
I think that's taking the love of your car a bit too far!
Sounds like she's cared for then, I'll have to have a look at the ol' girl some time, based in Exeter but haven't met any local Cliosport'ers yet...
Parked up in the petrol station, I'm not up to speed on my 182's but I think it's the Cup (light blue?)...
I think it belongs to someone working in the Petrol station, I paid for me petrol and aske the guy who's it was and he just pointed behind him.... he had funny hair too! :S
Well, that's like not taking your baby child out for a walk on their birthday, or bathing it in the evening before bed. The lack of drive can be forgiven, but not washing her? I think a call to social services is in order... ;)
Not sure, when I test drove a 182 (having been used to my old Fiesta), I 'blipped' the throttle on start up and it roared its way to about 4k revs! Haven't blipped on my 172 since...
I know what you mean, always just put it down to what you expect to happen when you floor it, compared to not expecting quite as much if you're being gradual.
I suppose there's also the liklihood that if you do it gradually then you can see the revs build up also, whereas all at once still...
Go for it, the skirts alone won't make it look like it immitating an RS. When you start adding bumpers, wheels, interior and a certain 'Sport' badge... then we have a problem! ;)
Turn it one click, wait for the injectors to make their 'brrrr' noise and then start. Shouldn't really need to press accelerator at all, I tend to do this if an engine has been flooded recently or needs a bit of persuasion to get going!
I know, I hate when that happens!
I mean, take Carbon's car, lovely wheels on an utter shite-heap! :rasp: (Jk)
But seriously, crap cars with nice wheels need to be given some direction...
May well attend this, although I also have an allegiance to go to FITP in Kettering so if the dates clash I'll have a difficult decision to make!
May be tempted with a sprint or two, but not any track time ta... :)
Go 1st, utter tat is what Xmas is all about, and it's a quality animation!
Yeah it may be cheeky, but has any of the Cliosport Admin asked someone like Fubar to make a Christmassy logo? Apologies if this is underway, but I don't think I've seen a request...
It was a Mk1 Clio mate as opposed to Mk2 Ph1, and to be honest (as nobody has said it was them!) it wasn't really to my tastes! He was doing some naughty driving as well...
I think I may have seen you Rob669 on North Street before, headed towards the top of Fore Street (well, there aren't many...
Powerflow is a franchised company with outlets pretty much everywhere, so there should be a centre near you somewhere. It has been said that quality and service can vary from excellent to terrible depending whereabout you go though, so may be worth popping into a couple and seeing what they seem...
