Yesturday I lifted the bonnet to do some routine checks and noticed my breather filter had vanished. The pipe has obviously been dripping a little bit of oil as well. Found it! Melted on the exhaust manifold. The temporary replacement. I have a catch tank somewhere. I'll route it out...

I don't think I've driven mine 'properly' since last summer :/ I really should.

I'd love a long term resto project like Williams. Clean up and basic mechanical stuff- right up my ally. Anything serious and I know I would end up saying "birchdown, blank cheque, sort it". I just don't have any patience for crawling round on the floor tbh.

Me too, apart from the clay. Just didnt get on with that. I had a go with i4d yellow clay today, quite nice tbh.

I'm currently layering tough coat on a silver onto. It's just too easy to apply!
