had any of the airbags gone off in the wrote off clio, if so I would change them over because the pre-tensioners may have been deployed too. You will know for sure if you plug the new seat in and the 'serv' light and airbag light show up on the dash.

so you got the same motor as me then the 1.4S? and what have you got on there, springs, dampers, alloys etc. what mods? oh and welcome mate!

pretty simple and easy to work out when you look at them, take out the screw in the door handle (under the bug) then the 3 or for screws on the bottom. Work your way up from the bottom pulling so it unclips all the panel clips, you will hear they sound like there breaking, then once these are...

RT's a nice little cars and much nicer seats and dials etc than the lower models but I doubt it's 1.4 8v SPi(I think) will keep up with a xr2i being as its a 1.6 and there not slow.

ever seen a mk1 with 15's on that isnt lowered?? they look proper jacked up from the back and from the side it has stilts, dont do it!!

£800 as if!! try CIS ( www.cis.co.uk ) should be between £400-500, not sure about the mods but if its on the rents insurance wont put it up too much from that price.

and the more nippy you get it the less efficient it will be. plus tuning probably wont make the engine more reliable.
