Maybe you're being too fussy. Within reason, I usually buy the first one I see... sort out any problems later on :) I hate car hunting so would just rather get it over asap!
Although they're meant to be great... my 12" Type-R sub split all round the seem after about 4 years. I wasn't very impressed (I paid £150 for it) second hand? Not sure, it might not have long to go. I'm sure there are a lot of people with positive stories though.
For me, JBL has come up trumps.
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Only got £950 for mine with under 100k on the clock but it would probably be a good time to sell atm as there seems to be hardly any around!
Go for a re-trim mate mine's getting done as we speak, they look pukka!

Bought my current 182 on 109k and it's miles better than the one I had on 46k! Even the bodywork is in far better condition, the only way you can tell is the steering wheel (off to get re-furbed asap!)
From a buyers perspective... I really wouldn't care. I bought my first RS with a dented bonnet and 12" key scratch on it, and it was only 3 years old. Maybe that's just me though? As long as you knock a bit off everyone's happy.
My brain does not compute with a modified Trophy... sorry! It's does look 'good' though  only thing I would have to change is the numberplate, chavvy!
Right thanks guys, saved me from wasting some money there!
Is £72 the flat rate for the kit? Noticed it's exactly £72 on K-Tec's website not including delivery... guess I won't find it cheaper anywhere else? Might ask my garage if they can get it cheaper than me anyway.
My results down the bottom of my thread...

Need to do the right one slightly more I think.
Well certain apps you can shut down, but when you open them they're where you left off. I guess it's not the same thing and you're probably right though!
Gonna come in useful especially as Orange have cut internet usage from 750Mb to 500Mb a month :(
Hi...
Got my service soon and it's the aux belt/tensioner one. The reason I want to know if it can be purchased separately is because I can get hold of the belt pretty cheap, but if you can't buy the tensioner separately then I'll end up buying a 'kit' and getting another belt with it!
If it...
Hi trying to decide how to modify parts of my interior, and have seen some carbon fibre gear knob inserts... think they look pretty swish!
However I can't find where to buy them? Streamline sell the parts for steering wheels but not the gear knob. Do you think it's worth sending them a...
Re: Clio Bargins.
Well my 182 FF cost me £1,850 so not a bad start... haven't done anything to it yet but I'm a bargain hunter so will hopefully get some posted up in the near future!
Onavo is an app for saving on data... saw it on The Gadget Show so thought I'd give it a go! (it's free after all) However one thing I can't find the answer to is whether you need to keep this constantly running in the background, or if it's okay to actually shut it down and it will still...
Just a quick bump as almost ready to get this sorted now...
To sum up what I'm asking is: Is it just the aux belt, or the tensioner kit as well that gets changed on the 36k service? Thanks.
Oh right they look fairly decent!
My Just Matz ones came yesterday... impressed as they have the heel rest and colour on the logo which I didn't pay extra for. Only annoying thing is of course the 'Sport' is still in new font isn't it, forgot that lol.
