Metal case. I work with cctv/alarms and we have suppressors for rfi, but nothing seems to work on the car :( Just cheap components tbh. Done some major google searches on it, and nothing sems to work :(
Nope. It seems to be the frequency the caps/transformers in the ballasts give off......... If the shielding of the cases is cack, it 'leaks', thus interfering with the FM signal (must be the same). You might lol, but i think wrapping the ballasts in lead would cure it:rasp:
Knows, i wanna bin mine, but love the look. The interference is REALLY bad on light start up, but does come back.... just annoyingly crackles. w**k. I'm tempted to try some ballasts from another supplier
Bin might work? I blame the hid's4poo ballasts, it even f**ks up the workshop radio!!! PMSL!!!

Noooo it'll be fine, mine didn't, but now i have H&R coilovers, so was no need. You could always get some aftermarked springs? The Cup chassis is only Red Brembos, lowered by 7mm (stiffened) springs , and i think a slightly uprated ARB... also Anthricte rims.

I've had x3 RS clios since 2004, all driven 'spirited' when warm (see the near redline every day). Never had one engine problem. Good oil/servicing see's them right. Its the neglected cars that suffer
