TBH Unless he has proof that he used genuine renault tools for the cambelt, I would stay clear. If you could look at a cambelt and tell if it was new, I would still be worried that the timing was out.
Unlucky dude. I kept putting long dates on your advert in morrisons so it would stay up longer for you ;) Someone has nicked it now though :(
Yh the kid comes from our area. He is also thinking about buying my wheels off of me.
Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished) UPDATE
It was worth trying ;)
PH2 hopefully. Flamers although if there is a mint black one, I may be tempted again :o
Not to keen on cups. Maybe as a step up in a few years. I didn't do her in the car I don't think but I did do her on the bonnet ;)
Re: My 1.4 from start to current (not finished) UPDATE
It was a prospeed one mate. Cost me over £300 last year. Aparently, they are £275 now fitted. He allows you to choose the look of the exhaust and how it will sound. I had cat back with no centre sections.
Why thankyou ;)
It is now...
I'm not sure which I prefere tbh. Both are equally good looking ;)
This is good. My fav colour. Although I used to see you all the time in the 172. Haven't seen you once in the meg....and its bright yellow FFS
They don't have a smooth idle. I think it's due to the s**t engine and gearbox mounts. When I bought mine, the other 3 that I test drove all had this problem. Although I found it wasn't as bad when I had my prospeed exhaust on it. But maybe because I loved the noise it made.
I got mine done the other day. All is good. But obviously it's up for sale and a few viewers coming this week. Then onto the new car. Will I be able to take the new one in for another check? Not bothered about the free triangle etc as I have it already.
