iv got 17cm components in my mark 1 and i needed to make a spacer away from the door card as the magnet was too big. other than that the fit was fine but i needed to drill new mounting holes patty

same as powelly but also check the arches and under the carpet in the boot to see if its been worked on. obvious thigns really like lights, brakes, working electrics but other than that i dont know of any major things to watch for apart from rust

yeh def worth waiting for. i wanted to do a light change like you but i wanted to do punto front lights but they were gonna b a knightmare to fit and a stupid amount of money so i bottled it!! good luck wit the car, i hope to see pics soon!
