A collegue of mine is paying £700pcm finance on a Merc something. I think it hit home when I told him thats how much I pay for my house lol.

I would happily pay the tax if it went on road repairs etc, and if the CO2 grading actually meant that some of the money was used to offset the carbon produced. But it doesn't. General tax pot. So, big taxation on engines, big taxation on petrol, incentives for cheap economical cars. Anyone...
