i was just searching about tints and didnt find what i was looking for:cry: so i thought i would ask peoples opinions on what tints would look best? (ps. its its a black facelift) all opinions welcome cheers dink

i dont think they do. that metal thing is welded cos i wos going to use the same bolts but i decided against it

on the k-tec site they say that they do a fast road rear brake kit for a 1.6? so the plot thickens

ive got drums on the rear of my 1.6 i just needed to know if any one had discs on their 1.6

im trying to find out if they have got disc brakes on the rear??? any info would be great cheeers dink

i think that only the 172/cups have rear discs and im not sure but i think they are wider so i think uprated discs on the front is the way to go

I think that these should be the other way around

maplins do an led vu meter as a kit im sure you could use that as a base?

so the rear brakes dont run from the ABS/EBD?

what wrong with those mock discs;)

i know the front of a 172 is wider so does n e one know if the back is wider i dont think the cost is that much of a issue as long as is isnt a grand +:confused:

ive been looking throught all the old topics along this line i found a few topics saying that it would be a BIG job i just wanted to know if anyone had looked into this or actually done this to their car (ps its a 2002 1.6 16v) cheers dink

i think you will want a rectifing diode so it only allows dc to go to the inverter you would have to measure the output voltage of the amp to find out what resistor you will you will probably need a 2 watt resitor aswell dink

yeah just take a supply from the amp output and put in a diode and correct resisitor then put it into the cold catode inverter

check maplins they may have something you could use to make this

hey ive got mains voltage cables supplying my amp the only diffence between the two is one is more flexable that the other

i was running a jl w6v2 paralell 2ohm load. i run 4x 10mm2 power cables was told that it might be a bad earth so tried several points but it was cutting out at the same point in the song i think the 5x30 amp fuses is too much only 1kw at 1ohm which would probably be about 100 amps

i did have dls ca10 and to be honest it was pap i bought last year from CAD in their cadvent sale. i bought it to run a JL w6v2 bridged the 2 vcs (2 ohm load) and it kept cutting out so tried 8 ohm load and exacly the same tried diff sub same. found out that it has a very sensitive dc cut...
