All in all a GP won't drop that much in value really. I looked at one (out of curiosity) at a BM stealers a few months ago, it was up for 20k ! The same car can be had for about 16k or less tbh.
Like I said earlier, i'd probs prefer a JCW one with the power of the GP.
I'm in Essux dude, cheers for the offer much appreciated. The shops are sold out (one's literally just up the road) so i'll have to wait til next week to see it.
- RM, knowsit, luckily (well sort of) they are sold out. I reckon 40" would be just the thing, can a tv be too big ? Lol ;)
In most reviews they say the opposite though:S the W is apparently better for sports, but tbh i'm not fussed on sports. A lot i've read don't seem to rate the W one that highly, my brain bogged down with it all now !:(
It was yeah, but...
I'm probs speaking out of turn here, why not just get a proper cup to test ? (a 172 cup) Or standard cup packed 182 ? As tbh the 182 cup only shed 20kg over the normal car.
I can get the W for £600, I'll be buying it out right. The V one is £570 iirc, they are 37" though, 40 might be that bit too big.
Is the W one a good tv ? Most seem to favour the V one. Tbh though i'll not notice the difference.
Some would have paid it though, not all went & got the deals that were around a while ago.
In a year I reckon it'll drop 3k maybe a touch more (if folk paid the 17k) If they paid less then it'll still be the same end fig, only they'll have lost less.
That look quite cool. I'm sure LG stuff is good etc, but i'm not keen on their name (much rather go Sony or someting, then moan lol)
I'm probs going with the Sony Bravia V version I mentioned. If I can get down the shop again without stacking it i'll be buying it.
At the end of the day i'd not have stopped. Harsh yeah, but you don't want to rev your car, so stopping was a bit pointless.
Also if it were me, by the time I'd got to my battery he'd probs have been on his way.
It is very quick yeah, I really can't belive they are that quick tbh !
I think that all in all, if I wanted a Mini i'd have the power the GP has, but in a normal looking Mini.
I forgot about that rear spoiler on the GP, so that's the coloured mirrors, the wheels & the spoiler I don't like, oh I also think that having the number of it on the outside (on the roof - it's not a Police vehicle ffs) looks cack. With those bits sorted I really like them.
Can you imagine it on a track though ? You'd have to be pedal to the metal all the time, that must be the only car you can nail flat out round corners ! Even then it would still get beaten.
It know track cars aren't all about massive power etc, but that's got to be a joke.
^ tbh having read lots on the AV forum, i'll not really notice the stuff they mention, most on there are proper geeks !
I only looked to see what they said, all they've done is fill my brain with geek stuff :dapprove:
Ah ok, the phase 2 rear will look nice on your car, the rear bumper especially.
With regards to the phase two lights, they can be had from most places for about £30, some charge more though, don't pay that.
This is one on a phase1 car (it's not mine, just nicked from PH) The same boot will fit yours too.
As long as they wrap it up well it'll be ok. Tbh you will have to get it all painted anyway (even if you do find one in the same colour as your car) as paint shades differ - even if they are...
Coming along well now, the paint doesn't look that bad in some of the poics, I noticed the swirls on the boot, but the wings & doors look really clean, are they swirled up too ?
^ I agree, but tbh it depends on what folk class low mileage as. I know of a vee on about 100 miles, to me that car will need a lot of work on it soon as it's never used.
I reckon about 5k p.a. is average for them, as long as they are used about once/twice a week & given a run they will be...
Very true, I guess to most folk a Scooby is the be all & end all (sort of bench mark if you like) tbh. We all know that not all Scoob's are fast.
It's like when you see a Saxo with a claimed 1100 bhp (ok i've exagerated lol) then they say sh*t like 'complete scooby slayer' No need tbh.
Also...
Ain't that the truth !! I've just spent ages looking on there & other places at reviews. You are so right about not actually buying anything if you read too much.
^ Cheap insurance insurance isn't always the best though. Also it's worth checking the excess & voluntery excess, plus what the policy actually covers.
I do agree that the OP can get better though.
