Requirement of a Cat 1 alarm iirc. If you unlock it and dont open any doors etc, it will automatically lock itself after a short period.

You could probably splice two off the speaker out puts into an RCA convertor or something. But its less than ideal....
Something like this?

I dont know too much about car...
Im going to try it again on th way to work. I can totally see the idea behind doing it - I blip the throttle on non-braking down changes (overtaking etc) to try and match the revs to the gear Im selecting. I just find heel and toeing really hard!!!
iirc, when I changed mine when you disconnect the plug from the back of the speaker its written inside the connector. ie a little + sign. Have a look....
Imports will sell for roughly £1000 less than a UK car. Ask LeeM. His car would have been worth a thousand pounds more part ex had it not been an import. Sad but true.
For the record, I have a UK 172, but only paid £12,000 for it new. Which was cheaper than Motorppoint at the time.

£12,500 ish. If its a UK dealer car. Upto a grand less for an import.
There is an 04 Silver 182 with both Cup packs on my local dealers forecourt for £12,999 with 3000 miles on the clock....
You should warm your car up for a good few miles at least before redlining it.... the temp gauge is the water temp - that is up to temp in no time and gives no indication as to whether the engine is warmed up or not.
182 wont carry as much bread either....;)
Nice one m8, enjoy.....
6000rpm and its http://members.lycos.co.uk/pug306rallye/CTR/vtec_smiley.giftime!!
(thanks to Rich D for the gif!)
04 had a facelift and a lighter flywheel. Shaved a couple of tenths off the 0-60, but nothing else.....
In a stright line, youll be struggling against him tbh. Lead him into some tight twisties, flick off the ESP and gun it.....
The fabled gear change light has nothing to do with the optimum...
Id like some of these. I would like the same as yours monkeh, but with blue numbers and the Renaulsport logo in place of the Cliosport Logo.
BTW, are these hard to fit?
That makes sense, there are some dirt cheap 172s about at the moment. (Including mine, which is yours for £10k.. ahem)
At a guess though, I think insurance might be the issue as opposed to the cost of the vehicle. If that is the case, then you wont go far wrong with any of the 1.5 DCis. The...
I was faced with a similar choice when I bought my 172. I test drove the CTR and was generally pretty impressed. Its better built, but the interior is by no means excellent. The handling of the CTR is actually quite good. Bags of grip and little body roll. My biggest gripe was the much fabled...
I have no problems with Mer. Quick, easy and cheap. Looks good and leaves a nice shine. Finish it off with Meguirs #16 Carnauba Wax every month or so if I have the time.
I had nothing but trouble with Privilege Insurance. I wrote off a 2001 306 Dturbo with no-one else involved, no damage to property etc and it took them 4 1/2 months to pay me off. I was £10,000 out of pocket for that time.
Sounds like it might be an isolated case, but I wouldnt touch them with...
looks ace doesnt it??!!
Myself and a friend of mine ( who preps paintwork on concept cars for landrover) gave my car the treatment. Washed her, then polished with some stuff he had got from work(?) then waxed with Meguirs 16 stuff........ Had about ten minutes of rain earlier and it looked...
