    pmsl, IIRC it's because to push the throttle more than 25% he has to surrender his forwards vision to his dashboard.

    1.2 8v MPG, what do you get, im getting 40mpg

    I drive my 1.4 16v into leeds and back out again about 12 mile round trip every day for work and I never ever see above 36mpg :/ Doesn't make a difference if I'm carefull or thrash it either.
