You've been so unlucky recently with this car :(, hopefully this not being your fault and costing you nothing will be the start of some actual good luck for once.
On the bright side your Zymol Carbon was still beading well last night :)
Not quite, just updated the thread, got myself a MAF last night to try out, will fit it tonight and brim the fuel tank and see how I get on. May have ordered some polybushes for my rear axel too ;)
Need to order a wheel arch brush for my friend as a trade for a MAF sensor that he gave me last night.
Anyone point me in the right direction?
I was thinking this

Lol @ selling detailing gear!
We shall see my friend, we shall see. I'm debating whether to leave the "big detail" till before CSS too and just take a few days off before it...
Never used to myself, Jon.G swears by it though, he used it on his white turbines and they were still immaculate when he sold them. Get a few layers of it on and it's great, very durable too.
I'll link him to this thread to see if he will give you a quick review.
I know :( I'm suprised my car didn't blow up on my journey back home, when I got in the oil wasn't even registering on the dip stick.
Need to get a DA onto the car and get it CLEEAAANNN.
You'll have to come for a drive with me :P should have seen me and Jon on the way back from TOPO the other day, Jon was worse than me though, I'm not fully comfortable with the car yet. Although me following him and doing all the overtakes he took when there really wasn't enough room for me was...
I own a zetec-s, as I like them, they are still a bag of s**t tbh, but I love it. Car choice is mainly to do with insurance though, it's £1800 for this alone, VTS is a fair whack more (and could never have one as a daily) and obviously the same with the 106 GTi. For a road car and occasional...
You'll appreciate the clio even more when you get in it.
I've taken to driving very sensibly when doing normal driving, no overtaking, 65 on the motorway, and now when I go for a proper blast, I'm appreciating the car so much more.
LOL! So true, still, the image for most saxo's is BADDDD. Clio is going that way too. I couldn't have one as a daily, it would have to be a stripped out track **** and weekend toy.
Definitely, far too front end heavy though. On bodies they are great fun :) but personally I would only have one in standard guise to embarrass a few people for a laugh.
It would need to be longer than that..
cliosport.net - Backing the wrong horse since 2004, but still beating anything in the twistiez, and a better car than an XE'd Corsa B
Yeah personally I wouldn't enter the 2.0 series with a clio. You just cant compete.
For the same price as the clio build you could have a 1.6 running the same power, lighter weight, cheaper to repair and be able to properly compete.
Location and date depending I will be there, everyone from the Yorkshire lot seemed quite nice at TOPO. Plus it's worth it just for the drive :)
Oh and the earlier in the month the better, I tend to spend the majority of my wage in the first few days LOL!
Still think the Zetec-S isn't as good of a base car as the Saxo's and Pug's. Bottom ends fail and rusting being the main issues with the MK5. For the money I'd sooner stick it in a pug or saxo and see more gains, more reliability and have considerably more fun. The handling on the 106's and...
