Morgan, I don't think any fast car is set up tail happy its just that's the limit of grip that can be achieved compared to the front without compromising anything.
As James said. Get your arse out in a race, lol
I think Morgan should buy a drift car, lol unless your trying to make the Clio a drift car??? Hehe
I never got to look at the setup mate, not even on James's car, It all gets a bit busy on race day doesnt it. and when I was only given two sessions of half hour the pressure was on as I'd...
Really interested in those mate,
despite belief its the rear that you steer from! you only point the car in the direction you want to go with the front wheels, Not sure why I'm having a conversation about getting the rear looser!,,LOl, No offense SWede cup
Hang on, Are we talking about a race car or a track car to show off in? Two different things!
Yes you can replace the welded in Torsion bar with a thicker one which will give you a stiffer rear end but you have to be carefull not to go overboard,
That was a debate I had mate, I hard hit is a hard hit wether its there or not,
A small tap will be taken up by the space taking it out has left..
No RARB. The axle has been strengthend.
No Honeycomb behind the bumper,
I think it looks so extreme because of the different mounting point.
Over the next couple of weeks the car will get a little lighter so may even lose some more of the bumper.
Great write up Tony and look forward to any video's,
Thanks again for your hospitality and was great to finally get out there, Paul and James said they were glad to help out,
James is now thinking of building a clio to run with us for next year (there goes my spanners man)
Race report Oulton Park 28/09/13
I had planned my first race well and had taken the week prior to the event off to ensure the car was ready, getting the last few bits done on the car before it went to a good friend of mines for corner weighting, Geo and final spanner check be fore leaving for...

I did come over to see how you and Tony got on, Looked at the faces, saw the damage and thought,,,,, Best leave them alone for half hour,
Real shame about the gearbox and the trouble its now caused you, And as for making it for Donnington! Before yesterdays race I would of...
So did I mate, Think we swapped places 4 or 5 times, I'm sure it looked good from the side as everytime we passed we had swapped, Was quite emotional on my parade lap as when me and the civic passed spectators they stood up and clapped, even got loads of thumbs up from the marshals.
I now...
Thanks for popping over Chris, great photo, possibly the only one that hasn't got me on the grass, lol
I'll do a race report when I have some spare time later but all in all the weekend exceeded our expectrations given that the car is un developed ond only had 40 miles of track distance before...
Thanks everyone,
Jay, My goal is to finish the two races clean, At the moment its signitures that I require, not brass/plastic,
If I get away clean Saturday night then I have managed to secure the funds for Donnington.
