    £120 for a set of rear disks, £20 for the pads, get a reconed caliper and it say £80 at sky high prices then that leaves £200 for labour, sounds steep.

    You are resetting it each time you fill up aren't you? Your average MPG will effect how far the car thinks it can continue.

    Put car electrics on, but not engine on, turn lights on and off twice twickly and that might solve your problem.
